Our client is a sporting products business that is part of a listed international business and is effectively growing its market share here in Australia.

Job Description

As a member of the local leadership team and reporting to the Managing Director, you will have overall management of company financial operations right from accounts payable and receivable through to local and international financial and management reporting. In addition to finance and accounting related responsibilities, you will also be responsible for managing the business' HR function including payroll, overseeing the management of internal IT requirements and managing the internal warehouse function and the third party logistics operation of the business. You will have a team of 4 to supervise, mentor and support you with the achievement of you objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally CA or CPA qualified, you will possess a strong all round finance background gained within a small-to-medium sized business where you responsibilities have been broad and your ability to prioritise your time tested. An assertive personality and strong communication skills will be essential to your success in the role, as will the ability to supervise and mentor a small team. Exposure to the implementation of a large ERP system will be considered favourably.
