This digital leader will head up the Melbourne digital offering, manage the local digital team, report to the national digital director and sit on the senior management team. The Head of Digital will be responsible for driving digital across the Melbourne office of the integrated agency. This will include growing digital within the existing client base and injecting digital strategy into new business digital and integrated pitches. The digital team is already well established (account service, producers, designers, developers) and will continue to expand as needed. Our Requirements You may currently hold a leadership position within a pure digital environment or head up the digital vertical of an integrated agency however the one non negotiable element is your digital knowledge and focus on creative services. You must possess a deep and up to date understanding of digital marketing and communications as you will be advising clients and agency teams on the latest developments in this area. With a pro-active attitude, you will have a strong ability to present and 'sell' agency thinking and digital work both internally and externally. You will have a proven record of developing campaigns and initiatives to meet client's business goals, in addition to persuasively articulating and presenting strategic ideas in competitive pitch situations. In addition to team leadership you will also be responsible for the financial health of the digital area of the business - experience in this area is essential.
