They are currently seeking a 4 Project Engineers to be based in a few locations Vic/NSW/Qld  .
The purpose of the role is to deliver project engineering works effectively in order to support the Project Manager to meet the agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards.  
 
Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, supported by experience in a civil contractor environment.  This role will suit a motivated self starter with the ability to adapt and work effectively to a pressure environment. 
 
Key Role Accountabilities of this role include:
 
  • Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes
  • Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services.
  • Manage and monitor resources for the project.
  • Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients.
  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation
  • Assist & attend planning meetings
  • Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site.
  • Comply with the organisations health and safety requirements and promote and work environment which represents this behaviour
 
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
 
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works
  • Analytical and design skills for civil works
  • Communication including oral, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors
  • Sound level computer applications, including Microsoft applications, Suretrak / Primavera and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
