Desired Skills

  • NetApp, NCDA, ASAP, NACA, SAN, NAS, iSCSI.
  • FAS900, FAS30x0, FAS31x0, FAS60x0 experience.
  • Virtualisation, VMware, VCP, vSphere.
  • Filer installations & Hardware upgrades and additions.
  • Data ONTAP and firmware upgrades and recommendations.
  • Extensive experience with SnapManager, Snapmirror, Snapvault product range.
  • MultiStore/vFiler experience
  • Multiprotocol implementation - NFS, CIFS, FCP, iSCSI, FTP protocols
  • Brocade, McData and Cisco 9509 FC Switches
  • HP EVA 8000/8100, EMC Symmetrix, HDS Tagmastore USP and IBM DS4800 Storage rays.
  • IBM N7900/NetApp FAS6080 Filers - Multiprotocol configuration.
  • Experience in data migrations from HP EVA's and EMC's to new Netapp clusters for Primary storage and secondary storage.
  • Ethernet experience; ability to work with network Admins to configure virtual interfaces (vifs) on NetApp
  • Operations Manager (DFM) experience. Operations Manager and Protection
  • Experience working with DBAs for storage provisioning and data migration.
