Have you always had a knack for diagnosing engine faults? Do you understand electrical and electronic principles? Are you able to use a wiring diagram to trace a fault logically?
Engineering People currently have a number of vacancies for field service technicians in multiple position based across the northern suburbs of Melbourne servicing commercial engines & hydraulic equipment. Full time positions are available.
The right candidate will be able to work to tight deadlines, have strong communication skills to communicate in non-technical terms to customers the nature of problems, wont mind getting their hands dirty, and will have a constant drive to succeed.
No direct experience on the same type of equipment is necessary; however experience with mechanical or electrical/electronic equipment is preferred due to the technical nature of the positions. (Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Technician with a mechanical background, Specialist fitters with hydraulics and automotive experience) . Candidates People with no direct qualification but suitable experience or people with part completed apprenticeships are encouraged to apply.
