Having built a remarkable reputation within their industry for providing excellent customer service, this position has been designed to allow you to manage the service, delivery and logistics for their Brisbane based account clients. Due to the nature of this role, previous experience within the transportation industry is essential and to hold an advantage over other candidates, any exposure to container transportation, handling and operations would be highly desirable. The role will have you involved in a number of functional aspects of the business including liaising with customers, managing their accounts, providing detailed updates to drivers, liaising with storage suppliers and carrying out continual updates of the operations system. Within the depot you will have high level support from the depot administrator and you will be in constant contact with the Toowoomba based operations team. The dynamic and busy style of the industry will require a high degree of internal or 'on the job' training and development to accustomise yourself with their particular systems.
